Callus Vines – By Trevor Martin

I haven’t wrote a poem, seems it’s been some time
Since I wrote a simple rhyme symbolising mines
By mines I mean my inerds, that gunked up slimy stuff
Those inner feelings, inner peelings, rounded once were tough
The beaches have breached this hardened shell of mine
Little softer, little wiser, winding callus vines.

– Trevy poo

Thank YOU for reading.
